Please Join a Conference Call Wednesday, November 28 6:00 p.m. about the Future of Your Regional, State and Local Chapters

Posted over 5 years ago by Patricia Sadowski

Dear NYSAOHN Members,

As most of you know, AAOHN announced a bylaws change that, if passed, will make regional, state and local chapter membership optional for our members.

The Northeast region is a unique area of the nation for AAOHN members. We are the only area that currently has a regional chapter, and thus, our members are required to join the NY State chapter (dues $15/year), their local area chapter (dues variable up to $25/year), and the Northeast regional chapter (dues $5/year) along with National membership (dues currently $185/year).

There will be a Northeast region conference call to answer your questions concerning the proposed bylaws changes on Wednesday, November 28 at 6:00 p.m. ET. Dial-in information is below.

Dial-in Information:

1-888-430-5975

Access code: 6048760185

And - The Town Hall open to all AAOHN members will be Thursday, December 6 at 12:00 p.m. ET. This session will be more presentation style, but there will be time at the end to submit questions concerning the proposed bylaws changes.  Register here.

If you are interested in the future of AAOHN and your regional, state and local chapters, you owe it to yourself and the rest of the membership to attend both meetings.

If you are unable to join the meetings and still have questions, you can post questions to the Optional Chapter Structure forum, and a member of the AAOHN staff will answer your questions.

Kind regards,

Pat Sadowski BSN, RN, COHN-S/CM, Retired

NYSAOHN President
